in the January issue of the UK magazine "Shooting Gazette" there is an article about Watson Bro's of London building a brand new 4 bore double for a client.

they decided to make a run of 12 - 9 were spoken for when the article was written.

This proves that more than one foolish commitment has been made in a pub!

I was lucky enough to have about a 4 hour tour of the Holland and Holland factory about 6 years ago. At the time, they had a 4 bore in the cabinet which the Plant Manager described as having "Over $100,000 worth of engraving". Didn't get to handle it, (The manager didn't happen to have the cabinet keys with him) but did handle a 3 barrel S x S x S 20 bore. Wasn't nearly as clubby as I would have expected, but the manager did allow as how they were having a bit of a problem getting the single trigger to operate reliably.

Charlie Westley Richards also lists a 4 bore sxs in their catalog.
It's built on their droplock action . Wish I could afford one

I was looking at those guns online and noticed that the cases were brass. I wonder if the chamber has a lip inside. Also In the accessories for sale section. There is a Louis Viton
trunk case for sale only 7000 pounds , WOW

If you can afford that 4 bore the trunk probable isn't much of a stretch.
