A worthy observation, indeed. But judging from the present ethos, it won't be long before Mr. "Delgreco" reappears. It's just difficult to "gage" when...

For those who would use the 'guage' spelling...

Webster's:

Gauge - to measure the size, dimensions, or other measurable quantity of exactly; to determine the quantity or capacity of.

Guage - Not found in Webster's.

But much easier to type out.
