HELP

I can't get my Stevens Double open because the firing pins are extended into the snap caps. Any suggestions to get this opened? :cuss:

I did and even tried using some pressure but no luck

Is it a Stevens 311?

A more vital question is:

Is there a LIVE round in the gun? If so, take it to a qualified gunsmith! In fact, that's a good option even if the gun is empty.

Thank for the replies. Jim DiSpagno helped me figure it out. I had to remove the butt stock and manually cock the hammers. She opened right up. Probably some gunk in the firing pin channels had prevented them from releasing properly. Cleaned and lightly oiled now so we'll see what happens at the clays today.
