BIRD HUNTING LODGES

I am looking for an upscale wingshooting location somewhere in the US. I have been to Cheyenne Ridge and Scattergun in SD, The High Lonesome Ranch in CO and The Flying B Ranch in Idaho. Of these, the Flying B was the best. Does any one have a suggestion for a new location that might compare well to the Flying B and/or that might feature wild birds?

If you like Quail hunting consider Pine Hill Plantation. Some of us are going to Morrison Pines the end of January if your interested. Both these are located in Georgia.

THANKS

COB, thanks. I have been to Morrison Pines several times....the crew there is great. I will look at our other idea.

I have a group of 8-10 hunters for whom I am looking so I have to pass on your kind invitation. Please give my warm regards to Jerry and Buddy.

Have you ever checked out Winghaven Lodge in Kentucky for quail hunting. I go usually in mid October. A class operation and the best Bourbon bar that anyone could imagine.

I recommend Riverview in Camilla, GA Owned and operated by the Cox Family. Very nice.

John, What kind of feedback can you give me about Cheyenne Ridge? I have a hunt booked there next fall. I won this hunt from Shooting Sportsman Magazine so I won't have alot invested into it other than air fare.

OP congrats on your win and from Shooting Sportsman no less. I know it will be a class affair. I wouldn't win a free lunch in a soup kitchen even if I brought my own bowl and spoon.
