Birthday goose hunt
3 Attachment(s)
On my Birthday last Saturday, I found myself watching the sun rise from a pit blind in Kent county, Maryland.
My son Shawn, his buddy Matt, and I expected a slow morning with the warmer weather that moved in, but by 8:30 we had limited out.:) Brandy the yellow lab did a great job of gathering up the downed fowl and kept us entertained in the blind between flights. The only sin committed was the lack of Parker guns in the blind. A vote was taken and all agreed black powder and hammer guns should be used next year. A great time was had by all collecting our Christmas goose.:) |
