Removing tang screw bushing and safety pin

The title pretty much says it all. I am changing out stocks on a little VH but do not know how to remove the tang screw bushing and safety pin. Before I go all western on them I thought I'd ask the cognoscente first. Any and all help will be appreciated.

I am assuming that the tang screw bushing just presses out? Once it's removed the safety pin should easily slide out. Just want to know if the bushing is glued in or is a simple press fit and which way (if it matters) to press it out.

John, if you loo bushing will remove it. If you look close, you will see 2 notches opposing each other. a fine tipped screwdriver the width of the bushing will work. Unscrew the bushing as any other screw and when it will not raise anymore, a fine needle-nosed plier can be used to pull it out gently and straight. Jim

Thanks Jim

John, If you wind up with an extra buttstock for a 20 ga VH let me know. I could use one.
