PEOPLE FROM THE PAST
2 Attachment(s)
I wanted to post this letter I received in 2009 to see if anyone might have a clue as to who any of the cast of characters that handled this gun might be. Any help would be appreciated. Best,

Mike, you might contact the Bridgeport Historical Society regarding Rev. J.E. Jerle. The historical society is located in he Bridgeport Public Library in he Henry A. Bishop wing. I have a nice little 28 ga. DHE that Henry A. Bishop ordered for his wife Jessie in 1912. Henry also ordered a AAHE 20/28 ga. Parker for himself and may have had more Parkers as he referred "the B" in a communication with Parker Bros. when he ordered his AAHE. I will be doing a story n the Bishops and their Parkers in the near fuure.

Dean, I've told you before, Henry and Jessie were my great grandparents and reports are that their guns were stolen and never recovered. An insurance claim was never filed. Now that I know you own the 28ga DHE you'll be hearing from my lawyer.

OK Chuck - I'll ship it right out to you this morning........ :bigbye: |
I would guess that John McKeever and John McGeever were the same person.

I was thinking the same Bill. Probably a typo. There sure was a lot of stock replacement on the gun
