French Shotgun new hammers

2 Attachment(s)
I got some hammers from Dysons and fitted them on. Today I took the french 16 ga out to the range for the first time since I got it and it worked! I still dont know anything about it other than it makes most of my other shotguns look bad in comparison. I googled Orioton but found no gunsmiths with that last name. It has French proof marks and seems to be from the thirties.

A very fine gun indeed! No matter what they say about the French. LOL

If it were mine, I'd use 7/8 or 3/4 oz loads.

Glad you could bring this sexy lady back to working condition!

Thanks, I used some polywad vintager 2 1/2" 16ga. 24 grams. I also picked up an English gun recently just to balance things out. Its a Clabrough hammerless Sidelock 12 ga. Nice shotgun but with 30 inch barrels it has a very different feel.
