Just came in the Mail
16 Gauge G grade Lefever built on a 20 frame. Weighs 5lbs 14oz, 28" tubes, great bores, ring like church bells, tons of pattern left, locks up tight, 14" LOP, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 5/8" DAH, 2 9/16 chambers, have yet to measure chokes. Previous owner said it's apparently all original, and does look to be.

Great little gun in exceptional original condition for being over 100 years old. The G grade was dubbed by Lefever as the "Ideal grade". The G grade has the same internal workings and features of the highest grade Lefevers just not as much "decoration". You are a lucky guy.

I would love to own that gun. Hope you're going to hunt it.
|
Yes Sir! I plan on putting it to the test this fall, and hopefully many after!
