Paker GH 16 ga 30" damascus

Looked at a 16 gauge 30" Damascus GH tonight Serial #134,??? sorry but forgot the number. Going to look like 134,040. Pattern on barrels was VERY nice with no dents or rust, red head vintage pad measuring 13 7/8", no case color and wood had a coat of finish added but all in all a sound gun. Screws were a bit buggered. Book says there 499 made, not sure if this is something exciting or not??? Any thoughts or advice.

16 gauges are desirable. Things to consider are ;
price
condition
frame size
barrel wall thickness
tightness with-without fore end

Pics of gun with all area of concern would help.

Sorry but pics are not available.
Price is the question???????
Condition as described
Frame is 1
Barrels are the best part 100% original, no rust with exceptional pattern remaining
Tight on the face with no forearm, appears lightly used more carry wear towood and case color

Price is subjective. What is the asking price? Without actually seeing the gun or at least a number of good pictures, nobody here can offer a valid evaluation.

It is an inheritance piece and the owner threw out a number of $2500 but he just wants a fair value. He sent me the serial number this AM 134,197.

Without pictures a fair and honest evaluation is near impossible. Considering the screw and stock condition, I would not pay more than 1/2 of the stated price, but that is ME only. Some may pay more, some less but the gun has to speak to you if you know what I mean.

Well I bought the GH and a 16 gauge Trojan as well.
The GH is not bad, the wood needs refreshed but the Damascus pattern is strong and the bores are perfect. It is tight on the face and I am glad I bought it as I love anything with a long barrel.
The Trojan has exceptional barrel blue, wood finish and the screws are clean. Its like someone stripped off the case color intentionally as besides the recoil pad it is quite an clean gun.
Any thoughts on value would be appreciated as I am learning the Parker game. I figure the Trojan is worth around $1k and the GH maybe$1.5k? Oh well....I appreciate any insight posted on the forum or shoot me a candid PM.

Thanks everyone!

Those are two nice guns and two anybody should be proud to own.

A 16-gauge with 30" barrels is raw pulsating sex. You did well.

You did very well.
