Cool!

A new A-1 Special for less than $6000. If it had more triggers, I'd be sorely tempted. I wonder how much some engraving and case colors would cost ...

$5-20K for a full coverage Parker pattern by a recognized master. Much more for a special elaborate custom pattern.

That would be cool to own just as it is...I think, anyways...:)

That's what I was thinking. Or maybe just blue the barrels and trigger guard and case harden the receiver. It's a 28" IC/Mod too. Oh well, I already have too many guns and not nearly enough money !

Very nice gun, but I don't think case colors and bluing are worth $6,000. Also, now that I look at a plain one, I realize how much I like engraving!

ForrestArmstrong 06-28-2014 05:26 PM

Yeah, $6K would cover some nice engraving AND coloring & bluing.

I would rather have a touch of engraving and color from a good recognized source than no name full coverage machine engraving from Japan.
