I didn't want to steal Bruce's thread on the fantastic work Mr .Trevallion did on his stock ...and Gary has been more patient than I with the whole process ,but his stock work on his Mattie gun project has been lacking just the final touches and checkering for months now .....it's unnerving actually ,having it sit around the shop waiting for the metal scratching process to move forward ...but he's been so patient and has thrown hints at me here and there for pics ...I wanted to wait till it was all done and post a start to finish album ,but I guess thats not really fair ,he is my Boss on this after all ...unfortunately this is all I have right now .

Excellent 'nose of the comb' Chris! And I don't loosely toss compliments to stockers. You have an eye for detail and the hand to execute perfection.

Looking great Chris.

What a beautiful piece of wood, and great use of it too. Chris, your work is so precise and beautiful. Thank's for sharing. Keep the pics coming!

That stock blank has absolutely perfect grain structure and layout. I do not think I have ever seen a better grain flow through a pistol grip. Superb wood and workmanship.
