Missouri season open yesterday and I harvested this bird with my 12 gauge DH with 32" barrels. Older bird with a nice beard and 1 1/8" spurs. Had this funky toe nail thing on one foot. Came to my decoy with seven jakes, what a hoot!

Looks as if it got bent the wrong way and grew and grew and grew, since it could not be used for scratching, which would wear it down.

Wasn't killed near a nuclear plant was it?:)
