Deadline for Parker Pages Summer 2014 Issue

A reminder to those who may be willing to contribute material or who may be in the process of assembling an article or story for the Summer Issue of Parker Pages; The official deadline is April 30th which is about two weeks later than the normal cut-off date of the 15th of the months of January, July, and October. This late deadline in April allows for inclusion of pictures and an in-depth recap of the Southern SXS and the PGCA vs. LCSCA Challenge Cup event.

I would greatly appreciate it if those who have their contributions done or nearly done to get them to me before the Southern SXS so I can get them arranged, edited, and ready, in other words, to do what I have to do before being loaded on DVD's and sending them to our publisher.

If I can be of assistance to anybody in preparing their article or story, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank You,
Dean

Dean,

I am writing a new article on 11-gauge Parkers . I hope to include new data on barrel bore, choke and chamber dimensions on underlifter 10-, 11-, and 12-ga guns. Several PGCA members have kindly volunteered to allow me to measure their guns at the Southern. Do you think you would have room for something like this in the Summer Issue or would it be best to shoot for the fall?

Richard

Richard, with early notice like this I can certainly publish it in the Summer Issue, as long as you can get it to me by the 30th. Thank You.

Best, Dean

You need the text in Micro soft word format correct?

Dean Romig 04-02-2014 09:25 PM

Yes, please send all text documents in MS Word. Thanks for pointing that out Rich.
