Parker Magazine Repeating Shotgun

I recently acquired a copy of the book The Encyclopedia of Shotgun Shell Boxes. In the chapter on Obscure Companies on page 72 is pictured a buff colored box with black printing on the label

25
Shot Cartridges
Manufactured for the
Parker Magazine
Repeating
Shot Gun
For Sale Only By
Parker & Co.
88 Chambers Street New York
This Cartridge shoots equal to a 12 bore Paper Shell Cartridge

What do we know about this?

There is a story of it in the Parker Story I think Vol 2

I could be wrong, but this shell box appears to me to be something considerably older than the James P. Hayes experimental pump gun of 1910-11, discussed on pages 462-4 of The Parker Story.

I dont yet own The Parker Story but does anyone have any pictures of experimental Parker shotguns? Do any still exist?

The Parker Story only shows some of Hayes' drawings for the pump shotgun.
I do not think anyone knows of any existing prototypes still being around.
I asked the Hayes family about it when I met with them last year and they did not know anything about it.
