Hi Jack,

As Charlie recommended, PGCA member Brian Dudley can repair and restore Parkers with great expertise in a reasonable amount of time.

Brad Bachelder is my gunsmith who has repaired and restored many doubles for me. If I did not have such a strong relationship with Brad I would certainly ask for Brian's services.

There are of course other smiths whom other members could recommend. I do not however know of any within a reasonable drive of your location.

When I buy or sell firearms I prefer USPS Priority for shipping. If one ships on a Monday the delivery will be made on either a Wednesday or Thursday. This avoids ones gun sitting in a postal storage area over the weekend when cleaning and maintenance personnel may have access to where guns are stored. I also have adequate firearms insurance through Jack Richardson, historicfireams.com . Jack is a doublegun enthusiast himself and knows how to take care of his clients!

For what it's worth,
Mark

Thank you all for the info . I want someone who knows Parkers to repair my gun . Thanks

Jack,
Based on the limited information regarding your issue with your GH, it is difficult to say what may be the issue to cause it to malfunction on you.
But I am sure it would be evident once the gun is opened up and inspected.
