Trojan Skeet Gun

In years past a saw a picture of Trojan Skeet Gun prototype. Is it in DGJ or TPS? Or was it in a brochure? I think one is on display some where?

It is pictured on the heading of a Remington Parker parts list. It is probably pictured elsewhere. In 1998, it was in the Remington museum collection. The original PGCA Research Committee waved the gun around in the Archives and took pictures. Our host, Dennis Sanita, brought it upstairs from the museum for us to play with. I'm not sure if any pictures ever got posted here.

If anyone can find pic or more info it would be greatly appreciated.

When I was at Remington doing research on my article on the 1928 James P. Hayes prototype Trojan at Remington, S/N 226709. I also had the chance to handle and break down the Trojan Skeet gun. It is Serial number 237447. It is a 2 frame 12g. with Single Triggers and an Experimental coil spring driven ejector system. It features an experimental forend latch that is of a roller type. This gun, like many others inthe museum has had its sears removed from it so it will not cock or fire. The trigger plate and screws are pretty mangled and dented up from someone crudely getting into it at one time.

Here are some photos of the gun. And a couple that I took of it when I had it broken down. I thought I took more of it while I had it in hand. But I didnt. It was not the major reason for my visit there, so I did not dwell on it long.

I see it has the heavy 'trap comb' very much like the one I examined last summer locally.
