UPLAND SEASON IS OVER

A sure sign that upland season is over is three partridge sitting in a tree in the yard. Ron Mc Donald spent a week here with me, and I couldn't get him one flush. We walked under that tree on the way to hunt at least three times.

Austin, before next fall will you kindly give me the coordinates of that tree?

Those birds are obviously budding - what kind of tree is it?

Dean;If you find the tree , We don't want to find any BB's in the bottoms of their feet.:nono:....:rotf:

Partridge Tree

The tree is a cherry. There is a service berry tree about 100 feet from it that is the favorite winter haunt of the partridges, but usually just one at a time.

Best, Austin
