Early and late cases by Marvin Huey.

Both are very nice cases. He is a true artist! Does he still include the lighter color of the earlier case as an option?

About any color or type of leather wanted and about any interior color wanted. www.hueycases.com

So I am at Marvin's a couple years ago and he is repairing a double rifle case. Its old, beat up , seen a lot of hard use. The case has the following initials on its top:

B. v B.

I knew instantly what it was, and I'll see who else does.

Wonder if Homer ever got a chance to shoot with him? In the movie they only met briefly.

Bruno von Bich is known to be a huge double gun collector. Especially double rifles. Wish I still had my Westley .280FNE

The B v B are the initials of Bror von Blixen, an Africaaner professional hunter memorialized in Out of Africa . His working rifle and its case are now owned by a US collector .
