New Guy with 34" DHE

Hello from lower Delaware. Just aquired 12gauge DHE with 34" barrels, miller single trigger, no case color but engraviing good, real good blue and bright bores. Not original wood though. No rust or pitting. Anyone have a ballpark idea of value?

Stephen,

Gun in hand is best for any value assessment. Otherwise clear, detailed photos would be a start.

A DHE with 34" barrels. What a find!
Yes, cannot even begin to comment on value or condition without seeing good photos.

The gun needs to be restocked. the fore arm is a very large beavertail and the only thing original about the stock is the pistol grip. looks like a high comb area was pieced in for the trap shooter who was the preveous owner. All of the metal is in great condition. I guess new wood could only help the value.

I think I remember seeing that gun on gunbroker a few weeks ago.

Gotta love trap shooters and the modifications they do to their guns.
By your description, I would think that new wood would certainly help the gun from its current state.
The miller trigger is likely not original.
But, those 34" tubes kind of trumps everything when looking at a gun like that. It has potential, I am sure.

That must have been another gun. This one had been in a safe for 20 years. I managed to aquire it from an in-law before it got on the open market. My first parker is a pretty cool one. I'd like to find out more about it's history. serial# 192474 if any one can help
