If old Parkers could talk

In going through the gun safe today and wipping down the treasures, a thought came to mind. What if these old guns could talk? The stories they would tell. I cannot get any info on my Parker past the PGCA letter. But there are some of you that have a great history regarding some of your Parkers. I would love to hear your Parkers history.

The best stories of Parkers with special histories appear in Parker Pages.

I have two great stories in queue right now while I continue to research histories. For one of the guns I went from my home in Massachusetts to Dallas to visit the owner and shoot a lot of photos of the gun and associated items.

For the other I contacted the Bridgeport Ct Historical Society for information on a couple of residents who were high on the social register and who had a number of graded Parker shotguns. I am planning a visit to Bridgeport to further my research on the family and their Parkers.

Like I said, the best stories of Parkers with significant histories appear in Parker Pages.

Please send your stories and technical articles to the editor at dsromig@aol.com for publication in Parker Pages.

Some of these old Parkers really do talk. :coffee:
