I just picked up a VH back half for parts. Number 125396. It was a 32" 12g on a 2 frame.
The breech face has gas escape passages in it on both sides.
Anyone seen this before on a Parker and is there any evidence to support is was done factory?

Seen before? Yes.

Factory? No evidence known.

Added : I'm going to temper that. Seems to me that we had here where somebody came across one verified gas port job that was in the records. Its like maybe 1 out of all known Parkers. There are known aftermarket gas port jobs. The idea was to protect the stock head against pierced primers.
