Rio Bismuth

Has anyone used Rio Bismuth yet and, if so, I would appreciate your thoughts in comparison to other non-toxic loads:bigbye:

Mills: We took Rio bismuth to Arkansas last week. They do not chamber in a Super Fox due to their very tight chambers. They worked well in two out of three Parkers both later Trojans. The rims diameters were a little big for a circa 1913 gun. Bismuth kills ducks but is not the same as Kent Matrix IMHO. For decoying ducks they are all you will need and 2/3rds of the cost of KM.

Thanks Craig.

I don't mind paying a little more to get a cleaner kill. I think it is more respectful to the birds. Nice Shot and Kent TM seem to deliver the cleanest kills.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Kent Gamebore is no longer making the short TM 12 ga shells. I see Ballistic Products is no longer carrying them. I had very good results with a light Bismuth 5 handload this year on roosters. Still I do think TM is/was a skoosh (little) better than Bismuth.
