For Your Viewing Pleasure--Grade 6

My camera does not do justice to this little AHE 20 This gun belongs to an old friend of mine. He was given this gun by an old family friend of his who was afraid his son was going to steal the gun and sell it for drug money--true story!! It has 28" barrels. The chokes were opened up at one time according to my friend--originally F/F--ser# is 203158 if someone could look that up and check. It retains 75% or better of its case color and 100% bluing. Other than the chokes, it is believed that the gun is 100% original.

Identification and Serialization says Acme barrels, AH, Ejectors, Hammerless, Capped Pistol Grip, 20 gauge, 28" Barrels
Very pretty gun. You must have had a special relationship with that friend. |
That is one nice A-Grade. Very unusual engraving motif and Parker Bros logo placement.
Is that your friend in the picture to the side? Do you have a picture of the floor plate? |
Yes, very unique engraving indeed. The great thing about these high grade guns is the amount of variation one sees. No two are alike.

I regret not meeting up with you and your friend while in the UP, I just had to much company to get away. Maybe this year. Its a nice gun for sure and should be used as intended in the Grouse coverts.

Yes, that is my friend , Bill, in the photo. Rich, that is the one we talked to out on Turner rd that day. A few more pictures.
Would love to see the research letter on this gun. Also I am going to post some pictures of his Parker lifter 10 in the hammer gun section--also a lovely WW Greener 12 ga sidelever. |
Very nice indeed and quite unusual in that the engraving is entirely scroll with no flowers at all.
I've seen a number of Grade-5 Parkers without game scenes but with "rose and scroll", or with flowers of various kinds. |
...and here I am always looking for ways to steal drugs to pay for an A grade Parker!
