Rizzini's - Feedback

I have been looking at a number of 28 ga Rizzini's but have no experience with this manufacturer. Anyone care to offer comments on their quality, performance, durability, fit and finish? Thanks in advance.:)

They can't hold a candle to a Parker 28 in quality, performance, durability, fit and finish.... but the Rizzini is probably less expensive.

Allen, it really depends on which Rizzini and which model are you talking about. A Fratelli Rizzini R1E 28 ga., for example, is quite a gun.

Thanks guys. Let's use a FN Belgian Browning O/U field grade vs. a Rizzini Aurum Classic O/U. How would you compare the Rizzini against the Browning? If the choice was between these two guns, which would you go with and why?

The F.LLI Rizzini is in a class by itself and in 28 gauge would be very very expensive. The Rizzini, Battista Aurum Classic is a much lower grade gun by any standard. I have had several of these Rizzini's and find them servacible and
a decent buy for the money. I have owned and used dozens of Belgian Brownings and never had a problem. In 28 gauge they would cost a lot more but would hold their value better. I think they are a much better gun.

I have had a B Rizzini 3 barrel set and it was a very nice gun.

there quality and prices are all over the place , ones I have looked in 28ga. at the lower end of the price line were in the 2000.00 dollar area are better than the guns made in turkey , but a notch below the jap. brownings , you could buy a nice used 28ga berretta for that money , it wont be fancy but its quality is excellent

I have one in 410 that was sold by LL BEAN, its a good gun for the money but a Belgian Browning is a much better gun, but in 28ga ,2 or 3 times the price and will weigh more. You can also look into a Beretta ,they are very good for the money or a AYA ,boxlock or sidelock. I have been thinking about a AYA 28ga myself they feel real nice with the 29" barrels.

Don't have any experience with the Rizzini's but my 28ga. VHE on an O frame with 30" tubes is just about the nicest pointing Parker I own.
