Bismuth
Guess I have been out of the loop. I just saw rio and others are making bismuth shot shells again. Anyone try them?
|
Really? That's good to hear, none of the overseas companies have manufactured them for several years as far as I know.

Wow those are great prices! I thought I was getting a good deal for everybody on that new old stock Pinnacle but that's just as cheap. I hope the prices and availability continue!

I just ordered a few in 3 and 4 shot to start to accumulate next years cache of duck loads. I've shot a fair amount of RIO at sporting clays and was satisfied with quality and price.
These should be good. G |
Leave it to Rio to produce reasonably priced bismuth shot. Good on them. All of their shotshell ammo is generally by far the cheapest in Sportsmans Warehouse and they are currently very well stocked with everything from .410-12ga. I've shot a lot of their lead ammo and it is the cleanest shooting shotshell ammo I have ever shot in my life. Shoot two full boxes and your bbls will still be shiny clean. Never seen anything like it. I'm having good luck reloading their high-brass hulls with an 1-1/4oz BPI recipe that shoots almost as clean as the original.

My wife and I shoot Rio all the time in our modern guns.
