Geoffroy Gournet
Nice to meet with Geoffroy Gournet (left) and discuss engraving on my un-finished A-1 repro! Geoff told me he engraved approximately 90 customs during the 16 years he worked as the in-house engraver for the Skeuses and approximately another 40 since.

Geoffroy is one of the best.

The shotgun pictured does not have fleur-d-lis inserts in the checkered panels like most. I have another which does that we will use. We selected this engraving pattern:

Geoffroy was my exhibiting neighbor at the Easton, Maryland gun show earlier this month. Some time ago, he agreed to take on my Becker clone Fox project gun when it gets back from the stockmaker.

Geoffroy is a great guy and highly skilled.
I would recomend him to anyone. My intention is for my VH to CH upgrade to head to him when ready for engraving. |
Easton is a beautiful town. Geoff had just finished an AYA upgrade, full coverage Bulino dragons and mythological figures, not appropriate for a Parker, but magnificent work. Also showed me a DHE repro upgrade, huge improvement.

Geoffroy was working on the AYA on his bench at Easton. It was pretty outrageous. Maybe I'll have some gargoyles engraved on my Fox.

I kinda like the "Goya" princess he was working on earlier in the year... Sweet thang!!

Nice article on Geoff in current issue of Double Gun Journal.

I agree, the article written by J.E. Fender on Geoffroy Gournet is very nice. The article features several Gournet-engraved A1 Custom Parker Reproductions, one of which appears to be the oh-so-elusive 0000-framed .410 (ppgs. 38 & 39).
