VH 20/32 incher ready for the season

Wanted to share some pics of my straight grip VH 20 gauge/3-inch/32-incher that I'll be using a bit this year for ducks, geese, turkeys and fox. I call her my Super 20 Parker. She's been at the back of the safe for a while now and finally got in queue to move forward. I handload modern 3-inch cases with Nice and lead shot but these pics are with vintage 3-inch shells loaded with 2-shot. This VH is actually a two barrel set 12/32 and 20/32 on a 2 frame. The 20 gauge barrels and matching forend are original 3-inch chambered but aren't original to the gun. Expertly fitted by Dewey Vicknair. I'm nursing my last box of these 3-inch shells and took two fox with them last year on the snow.

Does anyone know who now owns my old #2 frame 32" VH 20? It is serial number 153,333 and has a ball grip and original buttplate.

That will make a fine duck gun for certain. I'll keep an eye out for vintage 3 inch 20 gauge shells for you.

Frank has some early 20-gauge 3-inch MAGNUMS there. They weren't introduced until 1954.

Here is a pretty nice box of one ouncers that sits with my 2-frame 32-inch barrel 3-inch chambered 20-gauge GH-Grade --

The early 20-gauge 3-inch shells were only 7/8 ounce --

Thanks all for your inputs. Yup they sure are 3-inch Magnums and I have no qualms shooting them in a 2-framed gun with full length chambers. Destry, I would greatly appreciate it if you would keep on the lookout for 3-inch 20 Magnum papers in good shape. #4 and #2 shot only. Thank you.
