No. 3262 - What do I have?

I've been shotgunning all my life but am new to Parkers. I recently inherited 3262 and would like to find out exactly what it is. It's been in my family as far back as I can tell and I am trying to start tracking down its history. The gun is a lifter with engraved Damascus barrels. Any thoughts on grade or anything else would be much appreciated.

Josh, in the ser,Book, it is listed as a damascus underlifter with no extras 10 gauge with 30" barrels.

Josh, How about some photos, then we an tell you more about the gun, the fact that it has damascus barrels means that it is probably at least a grade 2, Gary

Sure thing. I'll get some photos up today. I'm new to this so I am confused by the grading. Based on the serial number and the information I read on this site, I was thinking grade 0 or dollar grade, but I couldn't seem to make my gun match either exactly. I appreciate the expertise of the members of this site and will get some photos loaded shortly. Thanks again.

those screws don't look like any unskilled person has been mucking around in there,

overall, nice honest wear. How are the bores.

you have a very nice piece of family history there.

As far as I can tell and from what I know of its history, this gun hasn't had any work done on it and all serial numbers match. I believe the wear that it shows comes from real day to day use by the original owner. The barrels are Damascus and the bores have some mild pitting. F9R is stamped above the serial number on the water plate. Is that a grade mark, and if so, any idea what it indicates? Thanks for the replies.

What is the gauge of the gun??? There is a discrepancy with what is published.

Josh Lee 10-20-2013 11:32 AM

Even though a previous post shows it as a 10 gauge, it looks to be a 12 gauge.
