Looking for info on Parker #89727
3 Attachment(s)
My friend inherited a Parker 12 gauge from her father. We're looking for info about the gun and approximate value. She plans to keep the gun in the family and pass it down to her son. We're in the process of sending in a request for a research letter.
Info: Serial #89727 (Mfg date 1898 based on records on the Parker Website) Grade "V" Frame size "2" Barrel 30" Vulcan Steel Barrel Weight 4 / 5 Condition: barrel and frame very good no pitting, dents or scratches Condition: Stock has good color varnish is flaking in areas Thanks............... |
That is a very early VH. I have one just like this made in 1903 and enjoy it very much. Sorry I can not give value as I have to have the gun in hand to make an estimate and everyone has a different opinion on value. It appears that the barrels have some kind of non original finish on it. I am glad to hear she plans to pass it down rather than sell it.

Nice, heavy, old VH with screws that need attention. It seems like the rest of the gun is in really nice original, not high, condition, pending better closeup pictures. Let us know what the PGCA letter says about the original purchaser.
