Thank you everyone for your advice on the 16 ga. pictured below. It has many great qualities and a few issues with screw heads and wood refinish but the barrels are outstanding. The gun is in the book as a TI3 H 2 C 16 32 made in 1911. The original configuration is there with re-blacked barrels, but-plate, forearm latch, trigger guard, bottom plate screws and forearm tip. Wood is nicely refinished with recut checkering, but the correct person could have made it perfect. Bores are 0.661 with 0.031 choke on each side. Chambers measure 2 9/16". To think the gun was 100% original 5 months ago surviving 102 years. The gentleman that bought it 5 months ago could not get it to the stock and barrel refinisher quick enough. He chose the correct barrel guy for sure thank goodness.

Best regards from Calgary

Brian

Isn't the hinge pin screw head supposed to be on the left side of the gun? All of mine are. Beautiful wood on that stock.

I've only owned it for 36 hrs. The spit is not dry on the envelope to Harrisburg yet!

Looking forward to getting that back in the next month.

it should make make a duck or dove shudder just thinking about flying by you you with those long barrels...nice ...a person is lucky to come across a small bore with 32 inch barrels...ive only held one in my hand in 65 years and that was over 50 years ago...
