The "whatchamacallit" Parker

When I first contacted Dean about publishing the article and the associated pictures, he indicated that due to space constraints he might not be able to publish them them all or probably not all in color. Here are a few that might clarify how much fun this project was. All that held this gun together was the top tang screw through the 'whatchamacallit", the bottom rear tang screw, and the trigger guard screws. The first pix #5 is the "whatchamacallit". Second, #8 "the claw" with the hole that held the "whatchamacallit" and lastly, adding wood and epoxy to fill the hole where there was no wood for the stock heading, tangs, and lockplates. Lee:)

I bet it's the same guy! Was his name Smith? Looking at this mess his first name definately was not Gun, but it could have been Cobble! Regards! Lee.:rotf:
