Position on PGCA Staff
 

We are currently looking for a motivated PGCA member to take on the role of Youth Coordinator. We all know that the future of our beloved Parker shotguns lies in the hands of our young people. This applies not only to shooting and hunting but collecting as well. This staff position is brand new and the Youth Coordinator would be starting with a blank slate per say. So if any of you are thinking of increasing your level of involvement in the PGCA this might be something you want to consider. I have a few ideas I will be glad to share and we feel this could be a great source of enjoyment watching our young people progress in learning the way's of The Parker Gun. This new staff position could be the most rewarding undertaking of all we do in the PGCA.

I can't emphasize strongly enough how important a role this is to all of us. For anyone who thinks he might like to get involved, please don't hesitate - you will have the full support of the BOD.

What a GREAT opportunity!!!

If the Board has not already gone through this process, the person undertaking this role will need to form a team to define the goals/objectives of a PGCA Youth Program. Once the overall goals and objectives are defined, the next step in the process would be to define the (business) operational model within which this new function of the PGCA would operate. Then define what is needed to execute the model in terms of staff and resources. But defining (with broad based consensus) the overall goals and objectives of the PGCA Youth Program must come first as they will drive all the other steps. My 2 cents only.
