Broken firing pin

After 133 years the firing pin finally snapped. It is the left pin, the right pin is still going strong. I hope. Good thing I bought a set from Dave.

now you need to have a nice horn striker box in the case to carry a spare set

another 133 years can fly by before you know it.

I never thought about carrying an extra set. It did brake in the middle of the Sporting Clays course.

A lot of the old gun cases have a nice little silver or nickel screw top can that looks like a film can that carries the extra strikers.

I have bought several pins from Dave Purnell and they work fine, he also has lifetime warranty
