Charlie, I am looking for just enough gold for the inlay of my dogs head, for the gun I am getting done to celebrate her life. It started life as a 16ga hammer gun with Vulcan steel barrels, It will turn into an AA hammer gun with likeness of mattie on floor plate name on the side, dates on trigger guard. done in french grey. This project is gonna take awhile but will be one of my most prized possessions! Gary

Wow Gary, that sounds like a great tribute to your best friend. Can't wait to see it.

The gun has been shipped and the stock blanks bought, the gun will be done by Chris Dawe, in Newfoundland, he has done some great work on wood and he will coordinate the build of this gun, the engraver is in Alberta, I have sent him photo's of Mattie and look forward to this project! gary

I almost forgot, Thanks to Mr Jim DiSpagno for walking it through customs in Philadelphia I really appreciate him doing that! Gary

I spoke with Jim about that. That was almost too easy. Nice work Jim!

Looking for Gold are we?? The mine I work at in the summer mines up to 10 oz/hour on good stretches of the creek we're on now. Do the math! I think they rarely get less than 3oz/hr. That's what pays for my drilling program..... I love this job!

Sounds pretty lucrative for enjoyable outdoor work.
