Trojan

Did all parker trojan guns hit the stores with the regular trojan butt plate? My question is did they ever issue a trojan with a rubber butt pad? I am aware there were no special orders for Trojans.
Thanks

gman i believe a trogan could be ordered with a rubber but pad as same as other grades...even though the trogan was limited to some degrees in what you could order for them we know that sometimes trogans got some custom work such as a few came factory with single trigger etc. charlie

I would not think a recoil pad to be considered a "special" order either. Why not.

Pretty sure the only options for Trojans were gauge and barrel length.

According to the Parker/Remington 1937 spiral bound catalog. The Trojan grade gun could be ordered with a single selective trigger and a recoil pad at extra charge. Also you order your choice of choke boring. The 1926 catalog offers none of these options.

One of my Trojans is 1932 and has an older red head pad. Do we know what those pads looked like?
Thank you.
