Apparantly, $180 to one person. Last one I recall was about $50 and I thought that was a lot, but I still remember when a Coke was a dime.

Thats about market, in that condition. That one had some problems. A perfect one could bring more.
I bid on that one but fell asleep. Maybe I should just post an ad on this forum and forget ebay.

Yea I thought it went a little high. The same person bought one that was in good shape in the front. But the back where the catalog is was full glue and paper. And it went for over a hundred. The back was unreadable. I have not saw many for sale. Are these rare?

The one I have has been trimmed like this one and I think I paid $75 for it years ago. They display nicely though.

They are not particularly rare, but a Parker paper collector needs one to have a good collection. They are very colorful when compared to most Parker paper. I guess the bar has been set a bit higher now. $180! Amazingly, the one with the ruined back also sold for $180.

I have seen so many for sale on the internet lately that I am beginning to wonder if the Chinese have moved from counterfeiting coins and paper money to Parker paper collectables. Maybe not moved to, just added.

$180??
I would pay more for certain variations.
I wouldn't sell my 2 Trade cards for anything. Thats just me though. They are the epitome of the hammer/hammerless transition in the best time to be a shotgunner.
A reminder of a better day. Certainly better than today in CT.

I am amazed that no one is faking the pigeon ring trade card. I won't be bidding on them in the future.

Here is another ebay listing. Card is same as one on header of our forum. Interesting to see if this is legit. Does anyone know how to tell?
There are some other Parker, LC Smith, Fox, and Remington catalogs, paper, etc. listed on ebay by some of the same sellers too. I'm not planning on bidding as I feel these are simply too risky, however if there is a way to tell if they are original, I'd love to own a piece of Parker history.

What do you guys think?

Here are some of the other pieces...
