With 18" of snow on my training field it's going to be a long time before I get back to schooling my Setters in the fine art of bringing back birds that fall into a body of water. This yearling ES shows enthusiasm with its flag up, but the chilly water of last spring was not conducive to high expectations during the 2012 bird season in MN. Of course, the drought brought on other problems, such as the familiar waterholes being dry.

This one chews her flag, loves the water and finally is retrieving
