So come to the Southern Side by Side in Sanford NC in a few weeks .

I'll get pictures up soon. Best I can tell I have a dollar grade top lever, with rebound hammers, laminated steel barrels, made in 1881. It was gifted by my in-laws. It was passed down in my wife's family through at least three generations that we know of.

Saw that. I have to work that week end but I may be able to make it on 4/25. I'm not far from Deep River Sporting Clays

An 1881 graded Parker with Laminated Steel barrels may just have the very uncommon 'Parker made' Laminated Steel barrels that they produced only in 1877, '78 and 1879. I have three such guns and my favorite is a 16 gauge D grade with original 27" Laminated barrels.

We sure would like to see pictures... especially for the many of us who won't be able to get to the Southern this year.
Definitely show us sharp clear pics of the barrel flats where the barrel steel marking is stamped.
