Goes to show you that the center of a 12 gauge shot pattern is identical to the center of a 28 gauge shot pattern. The only difference in the various gauges and loads is the diameter of the pattern at a specific yardage... and of the loads tested the 20 and 28 gauge loads developed a slight increase in FPS over the 16 and 12 gauge loads tested.

Intriguing that long barreled guns were chosen in all gauges. I can imagine that there would be takers on those small gauge, long-barreled guns today.
