Announcing the 2022 Ansley Cup

We have added a last minute event that really is concurrent with the BoWhoop, W.C. Letterman and BabyWhoop events. Hope to see many of you using those Foxes for what they were so expertly designed for.

“The Ansley Cup”
The finest accolade in the world!
This is an aggregate score competition to recognize the most versatile A.H.Fox shooter with “The Ansley Cup”!
- Competition is open to all shooters. You do not have to be a member of The A.H.Fox Collectors Association.
- There is a singular purse of $100 for the competitor with the highest aggregate score.
- Competitors must fire at least once in the “Bo Woop”, “W.C.Letterman” and “Baby Woop” events using one or more A.H.Fox guns of any gauge and type. There is no limit to the number of times a competitor may fire in any one of the events and all scores count, taking the highest in each event to count toward the competitor’s aggregate score.
- Rules specified in the individual events are in force except that any A.H.Fox gun can be used. Only registered target scores count toward the aggregate score.
- In the event of tied aggregate scores a runoff shall take place. The targets shall be at the discretion of the scorers. Top score of a run of 5 targets shall be proclaimed the victor.

Remember: Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

Changes to the Ansley Cup

PLEASE NOTE A CLARIFICATION ON THE ANSLEY CUP RULES:

There will NOT be a $20 fee to be eligible for the cup. You have to shoot both the BoWhoop and the W.C. Letterman for score and not for practice and all events must be shot low gun. The aggregate scores for all three events will determine the cup winner.

Daryl,
Are Sterlingworth guns acceptable?

Daryl Corona 05-31-2022 09:11 AM

Absolutely Keavin. A Sterlingworth is every bit a Fox as is the Super Fox. Looking forward to seeing you and your SW. Drive safely.

NOTE: I'll have a number of 12's and a couple of 20's for those of you who don't own a Fox and would like to shoot in this event. I'm sure you are wondering what all the hype about them is. All are welcome to shoot them. Once you shoot one you will be wondering why you haven't bought one.

Owning a Fox is not a spectator sport.

DC,

Just to clarify, a shooter is required to shoot all 3 events for score. The Bo and Baby Whoop and the Letterman, correct?.

That's correct SC. Just a truncated version of the "iron man" that Herr Koneski has at his shoot.

Did I read this correctly you only need to shoot a Hardware Store gun (FOX) in one of the three events and can use a REAL gun (PARKER) in the other two and be eligible ?:rotf::rotf:

All my BS aside you must use Fox products in all three events to qualify for the cash window ?

Re read it very slowly Craig. If you can't afford a Fox, one will be provided to you free of charge. No wait that's a public defender.:rotf:

Lest you forget a Fox bested your Parker's score in W. VA a couple weeks ago.:nono:

Any more questions??

it means absolutely nothing if I'm the one shooting the gun , most times I'm lucky if I have my shoes and socks on and am carrying the correct ammo for the gun .:rotf::rotf:

Actually I could probably cover the mini thing I have a Sterlingworth 20 28" M&F as well as a Sterlingworth 12 28" also M&F for the main but I have no Fox SBT and to be honest don't wanna carry anymore than the 8 already sitting at the front door .

Daryl Corona 05-31-2022 01:14 PM

We will work on getting you a Fox SBT to shoot for the event.
