First post for 28 Gauge owner
 

This is my first post and I'd like to thank everyone for all of the info that's posted here as I didn't know too much as to the history of the Parker Repros. I've had this gun for about 20 years and I received it as a gift. Was considering selling...but it's just such a beauty that I think I'll be hanging on to it:)

Here are a couple of photos....wondering if there is anything that is good/bad that I should be aware of as far as condition? I believe the specs are DHE 28 Gauge, 26" barrel Q1/Q2.

Any info would be appreciated.

Your 28 is a very desired configuration with the double triggers and more open chokes. You have yourself a dandy. That gun was one heck of a gift.

Straight gripper with two triggers, what's not to like???? :bowdown:

Beavertail or a splinter forend? My favorite on a 28 gauge is the beavertail.

We can't give you a real inspection over the internet, but it looks good so far.

Nice gun but if I was storing it I would return the top lever to the center position to relieve the pressure on the spring and to prevent any damage

That is a swell gun ! It is light and fast and very good looking. It may take a little getting used to the fast handling. I am glad you will be holding on to it !! Best of luck with your

I’ve taken it out a few times just for sporting clays and it is really light and fun to shoot.

I could use another Repro 28. My two grandsons fight overt who's going to shoot the 28' at the skeet field when we shoot every Sunday morning. The 28's are sweet little guns. I shot 6 pheasants with this 28 last week at Markover. Truly a fun sxs and lethal too.
