The charge in this shell is in need of a four legged brown cloven hooved critter to catch it in the boiler room

One of these could also use a deer to catch the payload ! Last couple times I e gone I had the EH 10 28” loaded with the vintage WIN in the left barrel .

love those old shells i hope you get to take a deer or three with those old shells....love the old 8 ga...my biggest loading in the 8 ga is a remington loaded with 7 drams of powder and 2 1/4 ounce of shot...the powder is black powder probably but i m not positive on this.....charlie

By my calculations there should be 15 or 16 pellets of 0 buck in that 8 gauge shell . While I have no charge weight or pellet count for the factory 10 loads I’d be willing to bet they have 10 or 11 pellets .

Oh man I have a spot and shotgun those would be perfect for. 6 does same 2 trails twice a day like clockwork. Come on down!

I decided not to test fire one of the old 8 gauge shells . Instead if said poor unsuspecting deer gets close enough , I’ll try the old shell first in the right barrel and if it fails to ignite I’ll have one of my handloads with 000000 buck in the left barrel no problem .
