Model 21
Anybody see this LS&B Model 21 on GB? I thought it might be interesting when it stalled at the $2500 range for a few days, but it went up to $3225 in the last 20 minutes. Probably a fair price, but I was looking for the bargain.

I was waiting to bid on the pair of grade 4 Browning A-5s. They had stalled at $5200 and some. At the end they blew past me and ended up at $18,000 plus, with added shipping. Probably a record for jam a matics.

From the 1931 Winchester catalog --
Attachment 107995 through at least the 1946, the Model 21 Standard Grade came with the slim forearm. At one of the early Vintage Cups at Pintail Pointe an acquaintance picked up an early 3-digit serial number double trigger, plain extractor, slim forearm, 16-gauge for $900. Guess there has been some inflation since then and an increased interest in these early Model 21s. Time was if anyone wanted a Model 21, they wanted the single selective trigger, ejectors and a beavertail forearm. |

Taking a break from chasing Idaho grouse with my M 21. It's a shame that my GSP Ben was not in that picture.
