Waterfowl Hunting Print

1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know much about this print? It is titled Waterfowl Hunting on the Chesapeake Bay 1850-1950.

I received it as a gift and was curious about it. It appears to be signed and numbered by the author in pencil. It is matted and framed.

I did a quick internet search, and it appears to be from the early 1980's.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Looks like a Parker 8 gauge on the right.

I bought a copy several years ago on Ebay. The Parker shotgun is titled as a Parker 10 ga.
I don't really have any more info on it.

Done by Paul Schertz, who did several other "Chesapeakiana" genre poster-type prints, including the very popular "Decoy Makers of the Susquehanna Flats". The poster in question is a depiction of various types of gunning rigs, punt guns, battery guns, and decoy layouts peculiar to the Flats. Many were sold at Ducks Unlimited fund raisers and decoy shows. They can be found at random at flea markets, gun shows, decoy shows, and similar sources. A nice addition to any gunroom, man cave, or attic.
