Serial numbers reproductions

Recently picked up a 28 gauge 2 barrel set with a case that looks slightly different than the others I have. Im thinking it maybe older?
Is there any info on serial numbers and dates of manufacture?
Serial number is 28-2850

No. The factory where the records were kept was flood damaged by Hurricane Floyd in 1999.

Bob, How about some pictures of your 28 and case?

Bob,
Your Repro is 2850 out of 4203 28 GA guns made. That should help.

Thanks
I had one photo of the gun when I made up that post. Really bad so I will make some better ones, once I get a chance.
I was able to take it out for 2 rounds of skeet one with the 26” barrels and one round with the 28” barrels. The 28’s are really nice. The repo’s really fit me well.
Really straight grain stock and very nice case colors a little darker than my others .

I am looking for information regarding the possible value of a reproduction parker 28 ga A-1 serial #28-77 . It's is highly engraved on a silver receiver with several gold birds. Any info would be appreciated, thank you...

I see this is your 1st post Jeff, welcome to the forum! Many first timers come here and ask the value of their gun and then disappear, we hope you're not one of them.

To answer your question, it depends on several factors, I'll touch on just a few:

1. Any 28ga. Parker Reproduction A-1 Special has significant value.
2. Is it a single gun or part of a 2 or 3-bbl. set?
3. Do you know who engraved the gun?
4. Having a silver receiver w/gold birds it sounds like it could possibly be an in-the-white offering that Galazan closed out several years ago and then engraved aftermarket. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing as it will depend on the quality of engraving.
5. Is the gun housed in its original case?
6. How did you come into possession of the gun? If you bought it outright, that may give you a strong indication of its value.

You'll have to answer the above and follow up by posting several detailed photos for anyone here to offer an opinion regarding value.
