28 ga repro

I have a 20 ga repro But I,m shopping for a 28 ga found a straight stock BTFE single trigger 26" Q1 & Q2 average wood has been hunted with would rate maybe 70 percent case is a little rough no dust cover , does not appear to have been shot much but most of case color mostly gone from carrying I realize condition is everything what price range should this fall in . I have been following sales of better quality guns ,but nothing similar to this but its the the same as my 20 and what im looking for just wish it was in better condition Thank You for any opions Don Morgan

Better that you tell us how it is priced, then ask if the price is reasonable.

There asking 3600 wont move on it Ive seen nicer guns for 4200 and nib for 5000 ,3600 seemed a little high but i havent been watching the repro market lately since i bought my 20 if condition was better i would already own it looks like it was dropped forearm has dents in it that will never come out stock has scratches that could be fixed wood is nice grain but light

I'd buy it for that price.

Buy it.

Seems like a good price for straight grip with BTFE, and the Q1/Q2 are somewhat rare and quite useful...

Buy it!!

Don, the gun you describe is priced exactly right but only you can decide it’s value as those are two very different things.

I’d buy it too - good luck

Eric Eis 03-12-2016 07:46 AM

The condition that you described, I would buy it too. Where are you going to find a quality 28 gauge for that kind of money, you won't...
