New to forum

I am new to the forum, so bear with me. I have a Parker 10 gage hammer style double barrel shotgun over 144 years old. I had the shotgun restored Mr. Steve Dalzell. I am in a situation now I must sell the shotgun to help my 97-year-old mom out.
I know people are going to want all information about it, but I don't really know where to post the info. Please help me out, so I can put a full post in on it. The shotgun is beautifully restored and is still a shooter.
Respectfully: Dave

Dave, People here can be very helpful with all details Parker Bros. but in order to list something for sale on this site you must join the Parker Gun Collectors Association. Membership costs $40. per year but has many benefits. In your case it may well help to place your shotgun in front of people of like interests.
Good luck with your Mother.

Dave,
You need to be a PGCA member to be able to sell guns on this site.

Dave, if you just want to present it for evaluation or discussion you should put pictures and description of the gun in the General discussion of Parker shotguns. Since you are not a member right now, you cannot offer it for sale here in the forums. Membership is reasonably priced and worth the money. There are very knowledgeable people here that can offer you information that you can trust. However, if you just want to sell the gun, list it on Gunbroker.com with lots of pictures and an honest description of condition. Start the auction at $1.00 and the final sale price should be fairly close to market value or even greater. I wish you the best of luck in selling the gun.

Dave - I know Steve Dalzell and his mentor and friend Dave Trevallion and I hold their work in high regard. I visit Dave Trevallion several times a year and have met Steve in Dave's shop. You would be hard-pressed to find a better restoration expert and you should have no trouble placing your Parker in the hands of an appreciative custodian.

I wish you the best of luck in both of your quests.
