2023 Vintage Cup, New Venue?

Now that the 2022 Vintage Cup has been completed, it's time for the rumor mill to start a conversation about 2023. The Vintagers hierarchy has historically been very close to the vest with future plans, right up to the date of the shoot. Today I may have been privy to plans for a new venue for 2023. What has anyone heard at Ernie's about 2023?

The Vintagers had printed flyers that announced the 2023 venue at Central Penn Sporting Clays in York County PA. A bit earlier than typical = Sept 7-9, 2023.

Thank you, Frank and James, and me. I won't make any further comment about the Vintagers.org and the negligent advertising of their shoots. I will attend and enjoy the 2023 shoot.

I will say that I have been to all but 3 of the Vintagers and this one had the least number of exhibitors of any .I talked to a person that was on the Vintagers BOD and was told that the 2023 event will be much better with a lot more exhibitors. I hope so.

I was so hoping it would be on the Eastern Shore of Maryland next year ! But I’ve been to Wellsville and shot the Warrington course and shot some at Central PA . Not that it’s any big deal if I attend or not I might give this a go next year ! But they need to add an 8 gauge event , heck I saw they had a new event this year for O/U an semi auto’s . So if they can have that why not an 8 gauge event .

NOT If They keep charging those'' Outrageous'' Prices for their Tables. Cut the price in half, you will get 3-4 times more Vendors. IT is a Win-Win for every body.

I know of at least one vendor who did not attend because of the table cost. As to the new location, due to the site limitations there won't be any rifle events, which I enjoyed greatly. I was told the rifle events will be held at another time at a different location.

About 15 guys (Vendors) didn't attend because of COST.
I Am amending this, about 5-6 more came to mind, so about 20 Guys, (Vendors)
Remember , most Guys can't Absorb $500 to $600 table costs.

I was told, at the Orvis Game Fair on Saturday, that next year they will NOT be conflicting, but on successive weekends. I guess they buried the hatchet.
