Leather restoration/repair
I recently purchased a set of circa 1880s Westley Richards doubles. Both the 12 ga and the 20 ga came in the original leather covered wooden cases. The leather on both cases is badly deteriorated. I would like to send the cases to a reputable leather/harness shop who could sew new leather on them and restore them back to their original condition. I've searched online to no avail. If anyone can refer me to a reputable person/company, I would appreciate it.

Kevin McCormack can probably help you out. Kevin is a member here and he also always has an ad in the Parker Pages that would have his contact information.

Huey Cases. They're the best, but expensive. https://www.hueycases.net/

A second recommendation for Kevin McCormick. He has done excellent and fairly priced work for me.

Kade Gile who works or use to work for Huey can refurbish the entire case with new leather. He is not inexpensive.

If you go to the Huey web page & click in restorations you can see Kade Gile's work & a link to contact him.
